Providing quality Christian education since 1982.

Mountain View Christian Academy was founded in Bryant, Alabama in 1982 when several of the Mountain View Church Of God members and staff realized the need for a school in our area that would help develop a Christain Worldview in students. Since1982 that vision has grown and included sowing seeds throughout the world with an international program that is first class. Below you will find pictures taken over the years that reflect the fun found not only in our community, but around the world.

Our Faculty & Staff

Our current leaders have been teaching in various communities for many years, and they bring with them an incredible ability to lead, inspire and care for all students.

With over 200 years of teaching experience among them, our leaders provide Mountain View Christian Academy with the inspiration and direction to keep the organization moving forward and expanding in new areas based on our community's needs.

Sean Kraft
Science  Teacher

"I was born and raised in Pasadena, Texas. I moved halfway through high school in the summer of 2006 to Oxford, Alabama. It was here where I graduated from Oxford High School in 2008 and starting going to Jacksonville State University immediately after. I earned a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology with a Chemistry Minor in the spring of 2013. I volunteered in Australia the following summer in Melbourne helping out at camps, public and private events. During this time I was being asked to use my passion of science to teach in China for the upcoming school year. I accepted a job teaching science and math at a school in Guangzhou as 1 of its 2 original founding members. After the first school year I spent some time in America working on improving my skills and experiences. It was at this point that I was asked by Mr. Aultman to start working at MVCA since he had heard good things about my performance in Guangzhou. Now that I have worked at MVCA for 1.5 years, I look forward to see how the students will continue to grow and improve as well as our school. I know that we can
prepare them for a future that they can make a difference in.

In my off time I like spending time with my friends in China and America. I also enjoy drawing, music, animation, playing video games, and photo/video recording and editing. When I’m home in America I like to spend time with family and friends in Durham, many cities in Alabama, New Orleans, and my hometown, Houston. Next summer I plan to drive across the entire United States."

at the university to speak at the 2014 Iowa State Symposium on
Undergraduate Research for my senior essay “The English Sailor
as Compared with the Landsman: Beliefs, Folklore & Religion,
1570-1625 and Beyond.”

I love to travel and learn about other cultures, keep up with
international news, ride bicycles, listen to music, learn Chinese,
play and watch basketball, and spend time with family and
friends. In the past I have also coached basketball, track, football,
and mock trial and this is my fourth year as an educator."
